What is a multiplication table? A multiplication table is a way of showing the product of multiplying any number from the list of first ten whole number numbers or {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10} to the same list {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10}

Since each list has 11 numbers, the table will include products for 121 combinations.

## How to use a multiplication table to locate products

The example below shows how to do 2 × 9 and 9 × 5.

For 2 × 9, just go to the row that has 2 and go to the column that has 9. The product is 18.

For 9 × 5, just go to the row that has 9 and go to the column that has 9. The product is 45.
