What is an addition table? An addition table is a way of showing the sum of adding any number from the list of first ten whole numbers or {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10} to the same list {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10}

Since each list has 11 numbers, the table will include sums for 121 combinations.

How to use an addition table to locate sums


The example below shows how to do 3 + 5 and 9 + 10.

For 3 + 5, just go to the row that has 3 and go to the column that has 5. The sum is 8.

For 9 + 10, just go to the row that has 9 and go to the column that has 10. The sum is 19.
